Hey guys, I'm glad you're able to flag these posts and remove them but maybe message a mod so we can find the the thread and remove the user. When you flag it, it doesn't remove the user leaving them free to spam again. I was looking for the flagged thread and it took me a while to find it. For some random things I suppose you wouldn't need to contact us but this bot is perpetual. Even leaving a link to the user's profile here would be helpful. Thanks!

I read this somewhere else, I can't remember who said it first, so thanks to whoever it was. I just did it to the most recent Chinese threads and they disappeared.

it doesn't get sent to the moderators, it just places it elsewhere out of sight. If someone reports it we can see it easier.

Spam guys have been handled. Thanks for the tags guys and sorry for a little late reply.

On the how they get through moderation question, well about 95% of all their posts is instantly removed by the filters but some sometimes slip by since they are always trying to find a way to go around them. Cant be helped sadly but filters learn how to combat this with every new attack so it gets better.

If 95% of them are in the filter, now I know why it's a near impossible task for my post to be found when I occasionally get my message dragged in.... (although to be fair, when it happens I don't even ask and if I'm that bothered make a new post :lol:)

100% honest, there is currently 10836 pages (and rising every second) of spam. Every page as well has a lot of content on it. Even if its cleaned every day or so that number comes up quite frequently. And almost all posts there are from spammers all over the site. I and others try to filter out any wrong posts and send them back but if we miss a few now and then just ping us and we will take a look but it sometimes may require a bit of time.

You may not see us everyday posting but we are watching. I for an example am here almost everyday but dont post as much as John for an example for this title. Some of us do more background stuff, some simply like to lurk and hide and some post more then others. All comes down to personal preference I guess but we are here, dont worry on that!

Ping me in any thread if needed and the moment I see the ping, I will arrive and same goes for PMs.

Nah I know. :) Just was giving an explanation in case you guys were wondering etc. Cant really speak for others but I do see them as well just more in lurk mode this days. :D

@Dougie_Powers_17 Heh, was just giving you an insight. The filters do a fine job in most cases this days but of course there is room for improvement!

The Chinese spammer? Ye, those never give up ever. They plague all sites worldwide, not just this one. To them its a business.

There is one other guy I would really like to give up, thankfully not attacking this boards but that guy.....uhhhh.
