I could be wrong or have gotten so used to the snow, but the green grass looks weirder than it did
I Photoshopped my town in November and screen grabs I made today match. I think the lack of falling snow makes things look a bit clearer.
As for another change/oddity, both the Mapple store and Try-N-Save now have cash register icons to signify it's time to collect.
During the Christmas/winter event, both places used the stack of money icon.
Guess both places will now help the consumerism section in the Conform-O-Meter. (Which is good because to get five stars before, you needed to buy three or four Kwik-E-Marts.)- I also noticed that those two buildings are now shops, but it didn't help my consumerism at all. The Burns mansion now has a stack of cash icon instead of the dollar sign/house icon.

The House of Evil is also using the cash register icon. I do believe that they help the consumerism rating as I have never had it reach 5 stars and after the update it is (I did, however, buy the 3 additional shops with the Valentines update).
P.S. Any idea what I need to do to get the quote working correctly???- I miss the friend glitch
- Here's another one:
Before, the ocean (the big body of water that borders the town in the Southwest) used to be dark blue. Now, it's the same color pale blue as the rivers we can place.
There also used to be a very dark green strip that ran along the coast. (So, you'd have the light green in your town to signified unlocked land, then the darker green (the same color as unlocked land), and finally a strip of very dark green right along the coast.)
Now, the very dark green strip is gone and the standard darker green color goes down to the coast.
The grid lines that run under the town also used to be visible in the ocean water. They no longer are. - I noticed the doors to the kwiki mart today. I also noticed that one of the fir trees has a different green to what it was. I'm sure that two of the firs used to be the same colour (I had a nice forest and used to wonder why they were so similar), now there is definitely a difference between the two trees.

I'm pretty sure the trees are the same color as before.
Back in November, I made a huge Photoshop map of my whole town.
I've been updating and adding to it, and the trees I planted before still match.
There are eight different trees: four deciduous and four evergreen.
The deciduous trees come in four colors, but there are only three colors for the evergreens (the $270 & the $675 trees are the same color).- When Nelson plays guitar there's a raccoon on top of the house chewing a wire. At the end of the quest when you click the thumbs up, the raccoon gets shocked.
- That's not new
- Just noticed a change EA made to the town hall.
Before, there used to be a small plaque next to the door.
It's no longer there.
(I wonder why they removed it..?)
