Okay, then I'm really sorry to hear about your problem, and since it occured so late into the event, I agree it seems strange. Though about the time the ghost bombs got unlocked, would have been about the time the devs made their final touches on the level 36 update. So perhaps it had more to do with that. Anyway, I'm sorry I have just been unhelpful... I can only hope your problem will be resolved somehow.
By the way, I have nothing to do with EA, and am not affiliated with them in any way, but I believe they will manage to fix your problem. You just need to be patient. But I understand that your desire to play the game fades for every day you are unable to play it...
