I'm going to say that the Rich Texan's problem is tapping eggs, or at least that's one cause. This time, I had him going, and he was fine. Collected everyone and buildings, fine. Whacked snakes, no problem. Checked him specifically after each thing. When cracked the few eggs someone left, immediately after that, Tex had fallen off the bull again.

Today alone I have put him on the bull 6 times, next time I come back he's wandering around. I'm beyond frustrated! And I didn't collect any eggs the last time.

I had to re-set him on his task four times before it seemed to "stick". Today I launched the app about 25 minutes before it was completed, and he was still on the bull. Instead of going back out and waiting patiently, I started harvesting houses and whacking snakes/eggs. Mid-stream the game crashed, and sure enough there was the Texan ambling around Springfield. I finally rushed through the task with donuts out of frustration. <sigh> :?

Well, he's been going for 2+ hours in my town so far, and I've done everything else (visit towns, drop eggs, whack snakes, etc) and still going. Even had a "cant connect to server" error. All I know is I'm not touching the 63 eggs now in my town until morning and hopefully he'll still be riding (or done).

After he's done, I'll experiment a little with Smithers/Burns and egg cracking.

I've found two triggers that off him from the bull.
Whacking eggs left in your town. (Whacking snakes already released is ok.)
Moving a building.
I had him on the bull all night. Woke up he was still on it.
Woke up. Whacked an egg someone left me, he came off the bull.
Put him back. Moved a building. Off the bull again.

I didn't do either of those in the last hour+ he was supposed to be riding. Realy don't want to spend donuts, but maybe I will when it gets down to 2... that's just one XP bonus level to pay for it.

The Legs & Louie Interrogate a Snitch quest has the same glitch.

Either there's a third Action that affects him or its random.
Maybe we should put him on in the evening turn off
The game for 12 hours ?

I hope they fix it :-(
