And there's something oddly hypnotic about the icon as well which just makes me want to tap it!! Confirm button would be a great idea

They are not taken from the neighbor. They are just given like a quest reward. The exchange only happens to you. You lose 100, get 50 back. The neighbor with the basket will see a free icon to collect the eggs when it's full after 4 swaps.

4 swaps? isnt it 3 swaps as all we get is 300 eggs

I feel kind of bad/hesitant. I've got three full baskets in my town so far and now I'm wondering if they were all mistakes. I mean, this early in the event how many people really have such a huge one sided surplus that they would want to make this trade? I can see this being desirable in a week(s) but not yet...
On the other side it's the only way I would've gotten any pink boxes so far.
