I don't understand why people are taking offence to this and are resorting to overly-defensive comments on this thread...
It's not like people with premium items are saying that those who don't shouldn't be playing the game etc. some people chose to spend money and buy items they wanted and that shouldn't affect anyone else but them. In a game where there are no leaderboards the possessions in ones springfields means absolutely nothing to other players. People can add friends if they want so they can get the bonuses that come with it and if you aren't the type of player they're looking for then oh well. There are plenty of other people that will fill your friend slots.
