They do not always do updates on a Thursday. They did a few in a row on a Thursday, then they did some on a Friday.
I think EA likes to keep everybody guessing. They are probably laughing right now at how we are all acting like addicts in dire need of a fix.

I doubt there will be an update this week.
The extension ends on the 28th of this month, I am not expecting anything before then. I could be wrong and will be pleasantly surprised if I am but I'm not getting my hopes up.
