Sims 3 worlds are much better than in Sims 4

I think that you are right about some remarks.... Worlds in TS4 should be more bigger and they should have got larger public areas, where our Sims could go around. However I personally like how neighborhoods look in TS4: I love all the details, lighting etc. I hope that Gurus will improve worlds in the future.....perhaps, will they give us the possibility to add more lots in the current towns? Or Create a World (I should say a neighborhood! ;)...) maybe!

Bigger does not mean better.
1- Sims 3 worlds needed more time for the objects to render even though the game was fully loaded.
2- The worlds had mostly rabbit holes
3- Most venues in Sims 3 were empty

although TS4 worlds are smaller but does not have any of the above problems of TS3 worlds

Before you say 'I think' let me state some facts:
1- Yes. I just wait a few seconds and start playing but fair enough, this is opinion: you mind, I don't, like you don't mind waiting for loading screens all the time, which is way more than a bit of rendering.
2- No, the worlds have far from 'mostly' rabbitholes (wild guess, 3%?), a lot is open. And most of the rabbitholes are non existent in Sims 2 and 4 (so far): school, city hall, buildings related to careers.
3- That's your computer, not the game.

I don't know what this has to do with Sims 4.

That may be YOUR experience -- it was not mine.

1- I don't recall having a delay in object rendering in TS3. I also don't have that issue in TS4. So, for me, that point is a wash.
2- Many of TS3's public spaces were rabbit holes but some were not, especially as expansions were released. Personally, I don't mind rabbit holes and felt there was a good balance between rabbit holes and enter-able buildings.
3- In my experience, venues in TS3 were always bustling, as were the public parks. I've found most of the TS4 venues to be pretty much empty. At most, there will be 2-3 Sims, and that's if I'm lucky. The Art Museum is generally the worst. Many many times, my Sim is the only person there, regardless of time of day.

Okay, I'm going to be completley honest here.

1-I am willing to pay that price for the removal of blurry backgrounds and freedom.

2-Yes, but in return I get beaches.

3-Fair enough-night clubs were bad but parks were always full of families on days out as well as the beach.

And in Sims 3 if you had a problem with the original worlds, you can download others of the internet thanks to CAW. In Sims 4, you get what you're given and have to like it or lump it.

They are way better. There's no competition in that regard. Even if you didn't like the supplied ones, you could always make your own or download someone else's.
