My suggestion?
Fight smarter not harder.
No i dont mean use only Brain characters.
From what ive seen, i would use a similar strategy as was used in Tapball (dont heal) just upgrade) i would save healing for a fully maxed character.
Fighting?
Losses also reward players, however instead of the mob disappearing the mob stays allowing you to challenge em again (using a weak character to lose and then using a strong character to win would be the best way to maximize gains)
Science Water DOESNT take a turn, Fighting and Switching do, you also go first (obviously unless you switch) why this matters:
From the looks of it you can only send Heroes/Vigilantes/Villains with Full HP otherwise the option to use a bandaid appears instead of the select button for fights, so as long as you think ahead you can end the fight with all (or the specific) characters with full HP.
More as the day goes on.

Can anyone use Fruit-Bat man in battles (if so it may be necessary to complete his questline before being able to use him im still not able to use him yet.)
