Total purchased: 10,212 KEM
Current sale price - purchase price (3,600-220) = 3,380
10,212 * 3,380 = 34,516,560$
Old purchase price - price paid (14400-220) = 14,180 savings
10,212 * 14,180 = 144,806,160$
Hmmm .... can anyone beat 179,322,720$
You should edit this message ASAP, if Josebot533 sees it, he will use the speed dial button on his phone to call EA and try to get your account banned.- Playing the game within the rules isn't cheating, its being smart;
and getting angry when other people act smart is..... you guess. - Fun while it lasted but glad its over.

Oh and the storing and selling after the event. Ow my poor fingers tapping that sale button. BlackFloppyDisk wrote:

The other exception is if you think that this is a glitch and will be patched. In that case I'd recommend spending on the extra picks while this bonanza lasts. I have to think this will get fixed eventually, so I'm buying re-picks. I imagine a lot of people at the end stages have more money than they know what to do with.
Very true ... also dont forget to store your KEM until the price goes back up....
Jabba, you have an over 2000% multiplier, and you're trying to save pennies? My house farm is generating about 15 million per day, I'm going to assume you are in the same range more or less. I thought I was the one that is trying to stick it to EA, but you are much worse, lol.
So how many house farms do you have? Are they really big? Because I don't have anywhere close to 15 million a day, but I don't wanna use massive house farms, so it's bound to be smaller......
I keep all my houses on the far right and bottom rows of land, my tennis courts, news vans, and itchey and Scratchy billboards are all in the SH, leaving the middle of town for a halfway decent looking Springfield. If you have space, you can add me as a neighbor if you want to look around.
I will, thank you!- I only have 1,400 KEMs in storage, but I'm not looking forward to selling them all before I can start buying low-cost KEMs. I still am going to net $3 million or so out of this so I thank whoever told me to store instead of sell them. (I was selling them before I read that thread.)

You're the kind of person I hope EA bans soon.
Ban for what? I didn't do anything wrong, I didn't violate any terms of service. You must have been jumping up and down your couch like Tom Cruise the past 2 days while people like Jabba, myself, and countless others have been generating thousands and thousands of very cheap dounts.
The last time we had a big brouhaha here on the subject of possible cheating (in the aftermath of the 40k glitch), I happened to be taking some work-related course during which we had to listen to some expert talk at interminable length about software-related legal issues (mostly stuff about patents). During a break I asked for her opinion about our little controversy. As best I can recall, heres the gist of what she said. (Im almost certainly getting at least some of the details wrong.)
1. Is it cheating? Technically speaking, probably. EAs TOS specifically forbids taking advantage of exploits (an exploit being defined as a bug or glitch that is used in a manner not intended by the games designers). Its a fairly standard gaming TOS in that regard. The thing I took away from our conversation is that software companies typically get the final say in what is or is not considered an exploit. Where you or I might consider a particular gaming behavior to be perfectly legitimate or, at worst, something that falls into a grey area, a software company might decide otherwise and the user doesnt have much legal recourse other than to meekly accept the decision.
2. Could a gamer get banned for using an exploit such as the ones weve been talking about in this thread? In theory, yes; but in practice, almost certainly not. Why not? For a number of reasons. Although, as pointed out to me, software companies can pretty much play God in these matters, they dont necessarily want to do so. Especially when (a) a lot users may have taken advantage of the exploit; (b) it may be difficult (or impossible) to determine who used it; (c) those who took advantage can at least make the theoretical case that they werent aware that they were using an exploit; (d) use of the exploit isnt damaging gameplay for other users; (e) the banning of individual users might be perceived as petty or unfair by the greater user community and hence could alienate the customer base.
The bottom line is that its often far more trouble than its worth and potentially counterproductive for a software company to pursue punitive actions for anything other than egregious cases. Theyre more likely to take action where the well-being of other gamers is impacted and/or their corporate image might be affected (e.g., when an exploit negatively impacts gameplay in a MMOG or in cases involving hate speech).
Remember, this is just an off-the-cuff opinion provided to me by a software lawyer over coffee and bagels. Just thought people might be interested.
And to forestall any questions on the matter, yep, Ive made use of a couple of exploits while playing this game.limitedlien wrote:

Are you selling your stored KEMs one at a time? Clear out a large section of vertical land, then you can chain style place them one after the other, then use the multi select to sell off bunches of KEM stores at once.BlackFloppyDisk wrote:

When I was making use of the cheap KEM to farm, my KEMs weren't chaining at all, not even trying. To be fair to the KEMs, what I've done is marked off my KEM farming area with Training Walls, so I knew I had enough room for what I wanted to do, both around a group of 25 KEMs, but also between each individual KEM. Obviously I can't chain buy any item like that, however, the KEMs, or any item, should still TRY and let me chain place, by having the next KEM right next to the previous one, and just be greyed or red out, saying I cannot place it because something is in the way. However it didn't even do that once, and took me far away from where I was working, on the edges of the screen, meaning what should've taken maybe 2 or 3 minutes (and that's probably overestimating it), actually took 10. What's even odder, I was still able to chain store them. Any ideas people??- bluntcardNew Traveler

200 levels 200 donuts and $3 million cash, all in 2 days....too bad they were work days otherwise i could have easily tripled that.

Hard to tell where you stand.
However those that where able to farm massive amounts of donuts more than likely invested long term, so its more like "interest" rather than not paying for premium content.
I know that i have spent a couple hundred in this game (not proud of it)
However December, waiting for it i predict another solid year past this one, the end is not Nigh, not yet.
Not until i say it is.
Sorry.
Not Until LPN says it is, then we know for sure its over.
