Thanks. That's what I figured. :)

I'm gonna let 'em run around a bit, so (if they can) they can benefit the few people who started early among my friends. I noticed a lot of my friends probably didn't start yet OR they are restricted by the 24 hour gypsy shop. So, while the festivities get under way, I'll bear with the people who started early like me. Without them I'd have no one to visit.

You need to tap them. I believe you get 2 goo compared to one ghost. You can only have so many and then no one can leave you one. You don't lose any. Mine continue to count up. It helps to have the grave yards and mausoleums from last year. They earn you extra ghosts. You can buy those with donuts. I bought some mausoleums this year to help earn ghosts.

OK, so it seems goo is a new kind of in-game currency, not an acronym. I was confused because a lot of people are writing it all in caps when they post about it, and I'm still waiting for my gypsy bldg to finish so I don't see any goo in my Springfield yet.

I've gotten a bunch and it's only been 3 hours for me. If you can, I'd check more often. I just went through my friends list again and the ones who had less than 10, I could leave more. I actually bought some with donuts because they catch ghosts even when your not there. They do not steal them. It's not like whacking day. Instead they help boost your goo amount. My amount keeps climbing no matter how many friends visit.

I have dropped gremlins and I believe when my friends killed them I lost goo and they gained. So with that being said if they drop gremlins in my town I kill them, gain goo, they lose goo and visa versa then their is no real benefit to gremlins as it should even out your loss and gain to being flat. Unless someone has tested this between their multiple worlds and knows for sure???

I haven't noticed any lost goo. I actually get more when they get smacked. I get the message way before the 4 hours.
