Toffee Apples!

I think they tried to release us from having to grind for the apples; they gave them to us in big bunches so you only need to play every 8 hours or so. And everyone is freaking out. (You got like 300 when you slappped Monsthar down.)

My candy apples aren't adding up. My landing page meter says that I have 1976 but my Act 3 prize meter says I'm at 1436. Are there apples that don't count towards the prizes? That's so random. I should've collected Holiday Homer by now.

The prize meter works exactly like it did in acts 1 and 2!!!!! You'll only see the amount needed for the current prize.

Your first 180 apples got you Crafting Resources.
The next 360 got you Apu’s Apocalypse Jeep.
The next 1620 will get you Holiday Homer.

    1976 - 360 - 180 = 1436.

OK, that makes sense. This whole act has thrown me off because things aren't moving nearly as quickly as before so I have way too much time to over analyze things.

Toffee Apples was the OP's term.

D'oh, didn't even see the thread header!!
T'is what we call 'em too.
  • In Maryland where I live and Ohio where I'm from I've seen two, wait three different kinds.

Caramel apples are an apple covered with caramel and sometimes dipped in chopped nuts
Candy apples are dipped in a liquid sugar (that hardness when cooled) that is dyed with food coloring and sometimes flavored with extracts, sometimes dipped in crushed candy
Delux candy apples are sold around Christmas and are covered with white or dark chocolate and dipped in crushed candy canes.
