- Correct me if I'm wrong but even if I buy the hunting license to double the amount I can collect from my neighbors and visited my own Springfield 5 times a day to collect the aliens when they spawn that still leaves me short approximately 20 probes per day in pursuit of collecting all the prizes. It's imposdible to collect everything without spending money on this event. In recent events I was able to collect all the prizes and finish the event two weeks early without spending any donuts or playing five times a day. I'm all for making it harder so people don't finish two weeks early but let's not make it so hard that we have to spend every waking hour playing and on top of that spend donuts.

Not sure what you mean by "everything". Clearly you have to spend money to get all the premium stuff, so I'm going to assume you mean the prizes in the menu for the phase currency. For example, in phase one, the last prize is the DTM and requires 8050 probes.
There are many post from people, including me, who have not spent any donuts and yet will make 8050 probes.
Here is one way to do it...
90 Friend actions a day: 90
Squish aliens every 4 hours 4 times a day: 50*3*4=600
Open bags from 10 kids twice a day: 10*2*2= 40
So per day that alone is 730.
And that does not count bags dropped from squishing aliens, which would give more probes on opening, or shooting UFOs with missiles, which can give 50 probes.

Maths and Neglecterino! A potent mix that can debunk any "not enough time" myths!!
I second what Neglecterino says, I've spent no donuts on this event (actually a lie, I brought the Ray Gun, although as Neglecterino proves that's not needed for probes, but it a good catch-up technique), and I got the DTM with like 3 or 4 days spare, and although i did work through the night sometimes, I would have still got the DTM and long, good night's sleep, just with a little less time to spare!- I am perplexed as to how so many of my "friends" are getting such galactically-high scores. I have 100 friends and the number one scorer has over 46,000 points. The second and third place scorers have over 10,000 points. I am struggling to get over 5,000 points. And I'm on this stupid game several times every single day, visiting their SF's and tapping the hell out of everything I can find. How are these people getting such astronomically high scores? At this rate, I might be lucky if I get Hugo, but I have serious doubts as to whether I'll even get close to getting a pumpkin house, much less other expensive prizes. What gives????

Okay that's quite a confused message you're sending there! You seem to be talking about two different things there. What's your most pressing issue? I'm sure we can help!!AOFIGO009 wrote:

I think your reply was more confusing than my original question (and there is only one question). So I'll simplify by just asking: how is it possible to amass over 46,000 points (now over 49,000) on the Friend Leaderboard in so short a time?aValIs4NU wrote:

Okay, thanks for simplifying for me. I've got about 46k myself, and I managed it myself for one reason: I have a second Springfield that I send Grem-Aliens to 10 at a time. I purposefully don't tap them in my other Springfield, which four hours later gets me 40 probes. That also shot me up my friends' leaderboard. I was always 15th with no chance of progressing up the leaderboard, until I utlilised my second Springfield.
Two points on this tactic:
I wouldn't start doing this now, unless u need probes, wait a day so that you get laser guns instead.
Second, while progressing up the friends' leaderboard is fun and an ego boost, topping you're friends' leaderboard offers no practical benefit. This score also has nothing to do with you're ability to acquire Hugo and other crafting items. Is that what you were mentioning originally?Ripley1974 wrote:
what's the answer to the quiz question? i havent tapped on the Simpson house yet.
Pretentious Art. By getting it right first time you get 10 donuts, but you won't be refused Moog Moe, you can simply answer again, you just won't get the 10 donuts. SO GET IT RIGHT!!! ARGH!!!!AOFIGO009 wrote:

Thanks for your reply. Well here's the thing. I've done exactly the same thing as you. I have a second Springfield and I've been sending grem-Aliens to it as well over the past two weeks. However I have not amassed anywhere near the number of probe points that you have. I'm not sure how long you have had access to this game scenario, but it must've been way longer than mine. I have only had the game for two weeks. In order to get the kind of numbers that you are amassing, I would have to gain 2000 to 3000 probes every day. I don't see how that is even possible. Are you sure that you aren't spending donuts on probes? What am I missing???- This is very strange, as I've been putting my second Springfield to use for about the same time. Are you sure you're not tapping the Grem-Aliens in your second Springfield? I wonder if you can figure out how many probes you're getting a day, it might be that you are getting the required numbers, but fell behind before hitting those targets? Once you are behind on this event it's tough to catch-up, there's not much wriggle room.
