Twisted Tunnel
YeS! I wrote something like this in the last thread: Looks to me that SH "heights" is four tiles higher than SF. You can see that clearly if you look at the beach on each side of the mountain. That t...

Yes it twists. It doesn't go dark, but if you close your eyes you can fake it. I had to move my entire rail system one square over to make it align with the tunnel. I have a temporary shunt set up to test the run.
Woah woah woah woah WOAH. wait a minute...
The tunnel is restricted to where you can place it? Like the roads and rivers??
I'm not about to shuffle my entire monorail to make it link up. It was hard enough trying to get the ends to link and complete the circuit, with every single support column out of the streets!!
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE DOUBLE CONFIRM we can place it to match our existing rail? Or no?
Now I'm really concerned...hmmm...
P.s. @donald thanks for posting the pic!
I had both my Monorails SH and SF configured to link up from a long time ago. There was still a little adjusting to do (because of the twist) but nothing major. But yes, you are restricted to where you can put it (seven available spots on the mountain I think) so you might have to move roads or buildings if they obstruct the path of the monorail tunnel.
Whether it matches your existing Monorail track completely depends on where and how you placed the original.
Should I actually use this tunnel Ill be in the group of folks who will have to modify my existing SF monorail tracks in order to match up with the linking track in the new tunnel.
