- I was already having road there.
- RosshkNew Spectator:lol: I guess I lucked out having mine pretty much empty. That's the area I left open in case of new houses. Since all the new houses seem to be premium now, mine was just left blank. I do have to scoot them down a bit, since the fence line is covering part of the sign.
- It comes out in to Ralph Wiggums back garden, I'm gonna have to do a complete town planning redesign :?
- I nuked recently, and started with building along the mountains. So the tunnel is hidden behind the Meat Factory and the Cracker Factory.
Ugh, I liked having my industrial stuff along the mountains starting by the beach... - My wife came out very lucky. The tunnel lines up perfectly with a road she already had there. I had to move the Dog Track, which isn't a big deal. I left the parking lots for other buildings around there and shifted the dog track to some empty land I already had.
- Yeah im gonna have to nuke to fix my town but thats kinda okay cause its a mess anyway but has anyone else noticed the tunnel doesn't line up on the opposite sideof the mountain range?
- had to switch a couple things around to make a road

I don't have mine yet (still working on donuts), but I'm guess it's not in the "middle" and close to the waterfront because people will have different lengths of mountain unlocked depending on how far they are in the game (ie how much expansion they have). If they put it near the middle of a fully purchased SF land area, it's a good bet newer players can't access it until much later.
Which is why I maintain it should be movable. Treat it like a building, just make its placement limited to anywhere along the mountain range.
Oh, I agree and would also love to have it movable - I'm just commenting on why it is so near the beachfront by default. Having said that I'm OK with where it happens to be. I have a dense forest there, and clearing a path should be a "walk in the park". - In my main town, it worked out well. It was between Wolfcastle's Mansion and Fat Tony's compound. I just had a bunch of nuclear waste piled up there. In my feeder, it was in the middle of a lake so kind of weird seeing Homer blow it up while standing in the lake.
- 4junk3000New SpectatorActually mine lined up with an existing road that ended in a cul-de-sac. I thought its placement was responding to where I had a road meeting the mountains. Guess it was just coincidence! I removed the loop, made it straight, and it couldn't be a better fit for me. Lucky!
One thing I noticed, the road seems to line up better if you place it one square UP (or back?) on the SH side. It seems to help the illusion of "going uphill" through the tunnel.
Also noticed new palm trees go ANYWHERE, not just on sand. Nice!
