when did this become a thing. Since this event I get between 1-3 freind requests every day. I used to get a random one here and there but never was a daily thing. Just curious if it's happening to an...

Me either. I think I've had one this event, which I figured was because I posted on the forum. Maybe we smell bad?
But I used to get quite a few random requests - back when I used to post on here more often. In fact I wrote a thread about random requests myself another lifetime ago.
