unsolicited freind requests?
when did this become a thing. Since this event I get between 1-3 freind requests every day. I used to get a random one here and there but never was a daily thing. Just curious if it's happening to anyone else.

Since you have a common first name, all someone has to do is type in a few characters, and EA will return a lot of all names that match the pattern. It's a lot easier to get random friends than to type in a specific name. Work smarter, not harder.- I get maybe one every 3 months, but I'm good with that. Very rare these days to get a PM first asking if I have a spot.

- I get a few, too. People just see your screen name I guess, and they add you.
- my towns all have the word springfield in the name. one of them gets so many requests that I occasionally have to use the origin app to delete the requests. It will start crashing my game somewhere in the 400-500 pending requests. I don't tend to the feeder towns anymore, so none of them have any friends other than one another.
I thought it would be useful to get more requests in my main town, so i switched the name of my main town with the name of the feeder town that gets so many requests. Strangely, the feeder town still gets the requests and my main town gets them vary sporadically. I guess the town shows up in search based on an index rather than the name. - Glad you posted this! I too have friends waiting to be added. Unfortunately, I don't accept unsolicited requests.
- Same here. I've had several in the last few days and 3 so far today.
- I get them all the time. Unfortunately I am already maxed out with neighbors in my main town. There is room in my crawl town, but I prefer only new towns there.

I guess be glad people are still playing. When you no longer see friend requests, the writing is on the wall.
