I was a long time lurker and just a recently started posting but I too am getting unsolicited friend requests lately.

LPN and I have been neighboreenos for a little over 2 years now (or thereabouts) and he's my fave neighbor :) I always try to tap his town first and then go on with the rest of the list.

Sometimes I receive some requests and when I have space I accept them. When I am maxed out, I decline. I hate to do it, but my OCD hates when I see a notification of friend request I can't accept, lol.

Now I deleted some people (and I will delete more depending on the neighbour activity) and I have space. If any forum regular wants to be friends, I see no problem with that! :) I love to scroll in good designed towns. :)

Had five more this morning. Maybe we need a "don't add me thread"?

Me too! I have a few neighbors who do incredible jobs.. I have design envy lol! ;)

Maybe people are hoping for better neighbors. I added over 40 new neighbors for this event using the Add Me thread and unfortunately it's been a sorry lot. Today I only had three visitors. It has me wondering if I'd be better off sending unsolicited requests, as much as I don't like that myself.

Me either. I think I've had one this event, which I figured was because I posted on the forum. Maybe we smell bad?

But I used to get quite a few random requests - back when I used to post on here more often. In fact I wrote a thread about random requests myself another lifetime ago.

@BeLikeTheBoy you're not a poor neighbor, it's just that you only come over for important occasions :wink:
