Update speculation makes no sense
Yeah we'll the simpsons show isn't entirely consistent with things as you would know, I mean in the stonecutters ep the Simpsons house was behind the power plant

I know they're inconsistent with locations of buildings but I doubt they are for traditional celebrations- whacking day is like there Valentine- thy day wouldn't be moved yearlysherryt07 wrote:

They took Down the game from the AppStore-the files were still in there though. Unfortunately whacking day was never released as people couldn't get onto the servers. It was that period where everyone was given 60 donuts as an apology for it not being up to scratchsherryt07 wrote:

hells yeah!! i would love to get the stage as a building id have it in some backwoods area making look all woodstock.- The reason people speculated that it might start this week is because in the raw files it stated "Whacking Day Event ends May 2nd" so even though it's May 10th on the show, the files indicate an earlier release. Also, the Halloween event lasted a month and this event is rumored to be similar in size and content, so this week or next seem to make sense. All rumors and speculation, but at least it gives us something to anticipate and look forward to.
- The thing that worries me is that, if you believe all that Whacking Day stuff that was posted is really going to happen, 1 month seems like it might be too short. That seems quite a big update. I guess it depends on how many snakes you can whack, and how that really will work (via friends, etc).
But a lot of that camp Krusty stuff and some of that I would guess is slated for later in the summer.
The Simpsons Wiki consolidated a lot of the rumors posted, but it's just so much stuff, I think that it might be 3 or 4 updates worth being staged.

D'oh... I'm late for collecting my 12 hour tasks from this morning.... - Those of us who played the game from the beginning didn't get an actual content update until September & that was a few weeks after it put it back in the App Store so everyone can download it. Because before only the people who originally got on March 1st 2012 were playing the game & we only had it until level 20.
The updates we were given during those months only consisted of bug fixes, stability fixes & other problems. They gave us the free 60 donuts in June as a reward for sticking by the game becuase of all the issues.
