this happened to me for the first time today, I saw a name and thought "I'm sure I got rid of him".It's very common though, going off the posts you see on this forum. Some people get completely random names pop up in their town!

Are you sure that you deleted them? If you only made them invisible they can still visit.

I havent seen "Frink" Appear in my town for ages now, it a small glitch but i always like to this it our "other Springfield" taking the time to visit us ;)

I have a number of 'hidden' neighbors, whose towns don't show up but they can visit me. This one, I know I actually deleted, because they went inactive for over a month, and they were hidden first. Deleting them as neighbors should prevent them from visiting you. It certainly should not delete them as friends from Origin though.

Ummmm... Yes it does. I deleted two inactive neighbors yesterday. And no, I didn't just hide them. Because I added two new neighbors at the vsame time. Nexus 7 2012 if that matters (ie a tablet not a phone) running KitKat.

How long is it between deleting these neighbours and seeing them appear in your games?

I'm just wondering whether it may be a server issue in terms of updating from you guys deleting the person from your game. (just an idea)

I had "Frink" visit me a few times however I have been getting notifications through out the day for well over a week now alerting me that so&so has visited my town. Problem is, I don't know these people, never heard of them and are most definitely not friends of mine. To make it more interesting, when I go through and visit all my friends roughly 10 minutes after visiting everyone I will get a notification that I have visited my own town.. Its led me to believe that something has gotten mixed up and I get my notifications along with someone else's notifications.

Strange indeed!
