yep , this is the thing to do
a good habit to have also for events and event buildings, all the characters that are working on said event building ( in this case the SH buildings) will walk to the nearest road :D

Well, we know that grandpa is forgetful, and Otto's record suggests he indulges in substances that may be linked to short term memory loss, so my sense of humor wants to believe that this is the developers just making the game a bit more realstic by having a delay for them to get on task... :wink:

Well he is shopping for "water pipes". I feel it makes sense.

I was going to post pretty much the same thing lol. Having a road helps a little in my SH but I'm finding it more amusing than annoying.

You really don't even have to wait if you assign them last. By the time you put everyone else in the group on the task, Otto/Grandpa will be done with their animation and you can assign them. That's what I've been doing.

This is what I've been doing and it works really well.

Odd. Not only have I had Otto do that, but Edna did that a few times as well. I reckon that it deals with that animation finisher.
