I bought it when it was first offered. Great sound effects.- bluntcardNew Traveler
Hmmm, I really love the factory. I think it's designed well.
FYI, the snake of the snake tree doesn't move, it's just frozen on the tree. It has a lame touch animation. toomuchtv2us wrote:
I finished all of the act 1 quests. I never got a task where I was tasked to build the factory. I have quimby and apu free. I tried storing the kwik e mart but it wouldn't let me. I also tried storing the town hall but that didn't work.
Do you have unfinished tasks in your task book? Sometimes if you have too many, it won't start another. Otherwise, I'm out of guesses.
You can always try the usual synching, hard-rebooting, re-installing, etc.lynnmckenz82 wrote:

I can't believe how huge the soylent red factory is. I have never really been one to complain about the size of the buildings, but this thing is ridiculous and massive.
You can't even turn it either.
This really bugs me too.
Me too. It's facing the wrong way for my layout. Please fix it, EA! Otherwise it will go into storage when the event's over.
Now see, this is what's bothering me. I can live with the size. Unlike the quick n fresh (or whatever it was) a factory is supposed to be big. But the fact it's facing the wrong way (not sure what that's based on, but it just looks like it's facing the wrong way) and I can't make it face forward really grates me for some reason.
On the flip side, man those new craftable buildings are tiny. They're like little sky scrapers for field mice or something. I'll probably still stock up to make a little money farm, but they're sure not going to make the skyline I was hoping for.- someonewashereRising Novicei was able to place the Soylant factory on Squidport, it feels like an oceanisde factory (industrial runoff and whatnot)
I like the size, the problem is that my "industrial area" s small compared to that one building, with the power plant as the exception as such squipdort feels right, however im not sure if i want it next to lil lisas recyclin plant or the krusty burger oil rig.
I'll figure it out later, hopefully some characters have a task there.
Just got Clobber Girl, will start farming for real now. Grumpstown wrote:

Is the crap silo with plopper worth 100 donuts?
Ditto.
After waiting quite awhile for it to come back, it certainly does not disappoint.- laurapound81New SpectatorMe! Although timed mine & every 1.5 hrs, wish I'd paid more attention earlier on as I was just clearing them not fighting as was busy. But am having to fight now as got too many!

Real Talk, People: Factories ARE big.
No s&*T sherlock. But the soylent factory is like 50% larger than the Steel Mill. If it was the same size, at least they would be comparable and look decent next to each other. It looks like the soylent factory has taken steroids and is grossly inflated.
