- Indoor 24 hour tasks.
- I'd like to be able to highlight a group and move it all, instead of moving each individual fence or shrub.
- The price of some premium characters. 120 donuts for a stand-alone, unvoiced Jimbo is just ridiculous.

Currently, since the recent update, it is the lag when tapping a character
Otherwise, the predictive selection when moving items.
The lag when dealing with concrete/pavement/water.
The fact that the game has a limit of items that can be placed.
No dirt or smaller paths.
That's about it.
That's about it? :) Barry's list perfectly reflects my annoyances with this game, and in the same order to boot!
The lag issues keep popping up, and are at least partly related to (or a cause for) the item limit (at least from a software development perspective). In the end, the multitude devices EA needs to support makes for a real challenge. I won't give EA a pass, but I do understand the challenges so It doesn't drive me to quit the game.
The predictive selection REALLY BUGS ME! This is 100% a design feature and EA could choose to remove it at any time. I won't give EA a pass on this one - it's a very stupid and frustrating feature that only serves to make the game harder to play and consumes more device resources than necessary to play the game. At the very least, give me an option to disable it!
Thanks, Barry!barryriddl474 wrote:
Otherwise, the predictive selection when moving items. If I click something and place it, and if I don't like it and want to adjust it in a crowded area, I want to select that item again (and again, if needed) to move it, not highlight everything in that area before highlighting my intended item. I get why the game does this. I just want the option to turn it off.
This is probably my absolute top annoyance. Like during Halloween with spooky fences, I'd toss them out every time I won some and had to keep readjusting where they were and in general had to expand my Halloween area of town several times over to accommodate new items and between the spooky walls and paths I lined with jackolanterns I could blow so much time and sanity just try to move things a couple of 1x1 spaces over. I'm the sort of person who if it were easier I would probably constantly be tweaking my town, tweak a lot as is but as it currently stands with this, the largest time sink while playing is this. And sometimes it will cycle through everything in an area and still refuse to pick up an item- lately I've had some weird troubles with that more than before. Especially if I want to quickly store a building to knock a character off task, the predictive thing seems to try and insist I don't want to pick up the darn building! And again, makes sense if that's actually true (and I'm sure EA would prefer we threw down donuts to rush complete a task but ha, not happening).
This issue also has prevented me from nuking my town and starting over even though I very much would like to. When I realize I can blow more than an hour just trying to make minor adjustments on one or two blocks of land, the thought of nuking half makes me want to cry, seems like I'd never get everything where I want!
Also agree on pavement and the sentiment made by teo47 about trying to line up buildings with those stupid pavement blocks. I hate too how the driveways on houses are narrower than the pavement block, so if say you want to put Homer's car in a created driveway, it doesn't look as good as it could. I lined driveways with flowers but you still see the pavement underneath them a bit and just irks me. It'd be so nice just to have 1x1 pavement to maybe throw in a sidewalk type area around town or from one building to the next.- Let me start by saying that I like the game, otherwise I would not be playing it for so long. That being said if I had something to improve it would be the selection of an item, it makes remodeling a pain. Also lately the lag when placing/removing/selecting a road, pavement or river. Character wise it is a close call between Gil and Ralph, but since the screen moves to Gil each time I enter my town Gil wins.
But the grand winner has to be being locked out of the game for any extended period and since it happened to me 4 times in the last 7 months... let me say that even if the problem has been fixed I still stress if I see the doughnut spin too long and I still stressed the first time I log in after an update. - barryriddl474Seasoned NewcomerAnother thing I would like to add is scaling. Why is the Try n Save so small? It's about the size of the Kwik E Mart, but has an indoor photography studio, similar to an old Kmart. It should at least be as big as Sprawl Mart.
Madame Chao's, Stu's Disco and the Singing Sirloin are all huge in comparison to other buildings in their category. Place these 3 together and you'll see what I mean (all are sized similarly and don't look right next to most other restaurants).
Also, I can place pavement under the walk in area of the wax museum, which normally has grass as its entry (WTFlip?), but not other things like the weather station (has grass with pavement under it or not).
Enough beaching for me today :D - AnnathewickedRising TravelerChanged my mind.....
I have an on-going ingame issue- for about the last year, if I buy a scratcher- my account gets charged, I get no scratcher- no donuts- nothing. Multiple complaint tickets with ea, some go better than other as far as getting at least the scratcher I bought put into my account or a few donuts.
But it is a constant and I want it fixed. I should be able to buy a scratcher whenever I please- without having ea resolve actually giving it to me.
I have another open ticket now- I told them fix it, or compensate me for never being able to use this function of your game again..... But figure it out man!
Waiting resolution again........
Absolutely furious over this constant ingame screw-up barryriddl474 wrote:

Currently, since the recent update, it is the lag when tapping a character (thumbs up OR via locator), and with as many characters as I have, I just put the game down and my people are wandering because I lack the patience to wait for each character to unfreeze.
Otherwise, the predictive selection when moving items. The lag when dealing with concrete/pavement/water.
The fact that the game has a limit of items that can be placed. For the player, this game costs more/can cost more than Skyrim and GTA V combined, including their respective DLCs, so come on.... If EA can find a way to accept and spend the money we spend, find a way to make the game less restrictive on items. Update that aspect.
No dirt or smaller paths. It requires more items (that add to the pile nearing the limit) to simulate a path. Please change the color of the pavement, at least, but I'd prefer to have narrow 1x1 dirt and concrete paths.
That's about it.
Yes. This stuff. Especially predictive selection. I really really really hate that you can't just turn it off. Drives me bonkers. :evil:barryriddl474 wrote:

Right on the money as usual Barry :) my characters are all walking around too for the same issue- i only put them on tasks if its for a quest. (Which sucks because I could really use the money)
I also have the lag with roads but it got somewhat better from one of the recent updates. Now it only takes 1 full minute instead of like 4.
