- buying non-premium items?
- I'm still only level 61. ???
- never mind hide my own post- john
- You need cash to buy items (rat trucks, blood mobiles) that produce enough XP to advance levels, ultimately to ... unlock more Homerlayas carvings. Oh, and get 1 donut per level.
That is it right now.
As you can see, I am less than enthusiastic about advancing levels and I am not spending my cash to do so.
Also ... I am convinced the developers are about to drop another cash-eating progressive on us.
Why else would the have added the new cash-for-donut transactions that open up after level 60? - Castiel_ToukSeasoned Newcomer:D

After level 61 you basically use cash to buy donuts in a way. Just put the xp coilder on and buy rat trap vehicles and you get a donut per level. Dedrater699 wrote:
Aside from buying land, is there any point to it anymore? For some reason you can spend donuts to get in game currency, but not the other way around. What's up with that?
That's because donuts are premium currency, and cash is common currency.- Stating the obvious here:
Money can be exchanged for goods and services
There will still be items to buy with currency. Not everything new will be donuts - In game money, I mean lots of money = donuts. There are many posts teaching you how to do it. But is only worthwhile when you have a lot. If you are at a stage where you haven't maxed land or level or regular purchases, do those first, then aim for donuts. It's so eAsy to level up at your stage and its 1 donut per level, which, on the way to 939, is over 800 donuts. At least it's easy till level 100. So it will keep you busy clicking. Have fun.
- I don't know if EA is going to find a way to introduce new characters that usually came with level updates. If they find a way to mend them into updates that'll probably cost you close to 1.3-1.5 million per character.
There recently have been aspirationals that required upgrades and loads of cash (The Money Mountain, Worlds Largest Redwood) so if you like to build these you can put aside some cash. - What's the benefits of upgrading the Redwood and Money Mountain besides getting new skins for Lisa and Burns?
