But yes, it is sad to break family up with the divorce interaction. Especially because of the children. "EgonVM;c-16603418" wrote:

Agreed which is why I avoid doing it all costs. I just get an overall sense of guilt- One time I convinced Bella Goth to leave Mortimer for my Sim. She then became super depressed and cried for like two Sim days. It made me feel horrible.
- DoloresGreySeasoned NewcomerI usually break them up when they (sometimes autonomously) flirt or even cheat on them with a different sim. And when they argue or drift apart.
- Usually when my game is getting a bit boring and I need to add some drama.
- pepperjax1230Rising NoviceI usually do it to add drama and I make the parents always be friends for the sake of their kids.
- When it creates the most drama.
- GalacticGalSeasoned AceI began 'Simming' in 2005 with Sim2. Since that time I can count on one hand how many divorces I have allowed in my game. I play my values. However, my singer Sim broke off two engagements before he finally tied the knot. Then, to his deepest regret, he ended up divorcing her after the birth of their baby boy. She was obnoxious and was abusing the baby. All of this was done autonomously. When she did it a second time, I had my Sim race home immediately after his gig and rescue his infant son. They fought again, and I guess they never truly mended their relationship after the first big row they had. The ability to 'break up' was on the menu. I sat back in my desk chair, hesitant, for only a moment. I realized the best thing to do was for my singer to choose his son over his wife. I clicked 'break up.' Then I paused the game, and went immediately into Edit Town and pulled her from the household and placed her in an apartment. There was no way I was going to allow that evil witch custody.
- I don't like breaking up couples.
- burnished_dragonNew SpectatorIn one save I have currently going I have MCCC set to marry and break up sims. It is going to be an interesting game. Last night while I was playing two of the sim's I put in the game married townies - I had to move them back into where I wanted them to be. I have plans for those sims lol
