- I started in 2013, I think it was in March. I got an Amazon Fire tablet at Xmas, found tapped out game, downloaded it and never got any further. Finally I decided to give it a try and haven't looked back since.

do we still have day one players? I came on at the end of the first thanksgiving event then the game dumped snow in my town and I didn't know what anything looked like till April? It was winter for a long time that year. :D
I was looking for a replacement game for Plants Vs Zombies as I had played it to death.
I started one year after you, John, fall of 2013. The day after I started there was snow, and I had no idea what was going on. I also needed a replacement for Plants Vs Zombies, and that game ran constant ads for Tapped Out. Figured I’d download it, fiddle with it for a day, then delete it.....didn’t quite work out like that. ;) - I started playing at the tail end of the Christmas event, January 2013. I thought the snow was a nuclear winter kinda thing, since Homer caused a nuclear explosion.

:D- I'm an old school player, started right after the re-release in July 2012. Lots of changes since then.
- Got to level 20ish early 2013, then an update in April made me create an origin account and I lost everything, reported it, but got nothing after a month of waiting for EA.
Started fresh May 2013 and have played virtually every day since. - bluntcardNew TravelerQuestion: When was TSTO better? The first years or later years?

Later years for me. The early events were great because they were all so fresh and new. Some of the recent events have been a bit hit and miss but at least there's usually always something to do. In the early days of the game, we sometimes went months between level ups and had nothing to do. And when we did get a level up, it was usually one new character, one building and a decoration or two.
I remember people almost losing their minds with excitement when we got the cobblestone wall as there had been nothing new in the game for months before that came out!
