- I'd like to think they would give us some warning, before the end happens, so that we don't overdo it on the donuts. However they've been telling us that we should stop playing this game since like level 15, and none of us ever bothered to listen.
- It shall be here Forever
- I am guessing they will keep adding stuff until it comes down to not making enough money to justify the programming costs and it will fade quietly into the sunset. By that time, premium players will have moved on and will be doing something else and free players will have moved on also.
How many games continue on for a long time? How many folks still play FarmVille or Angry Birds? I am sure there are some people but not as many people playing as 3 years ago... - Itll exist as long as the show does for sure. If they keep up the recent quality boost, the game should make money, so maybe in a world without new episodes, theyll go back and do stuff based on old/pre tapped out episodes.
- Like Twinkies, it shall live on forever!!!

The Rockcarvers, or something like that.- It's like anything. Fun while it lasts. Enjoy the ride. It's definitely good for several years yet
- As long as EA is making good profit, TSTO will never end. Anyway, TSTO is a $100 million cash cow to EA last year, it's EA's most lucrative online business, so why bother to kill a goose that laid golden eggs?
I have spent nearly $600 on TSTO for the past 2 years. To me, it's just a subscription fee, at barely $1 a day. It's reasonable for a working adult, and I get to collect everything (as completist, lol).
The Simpsons has run for 26 seasons with 500+ episodes over a quarter of century, with over 1000 characters. EA will never run out of ideas to surprise us at each update. TSTO is only at level 42 currently, I look forward to see TSTO at level 100 one day. - As long as it is a money making spin it will last.
