it may be due to the update, but i was able to get it for almost 60,000 less. I believe it was in the neighborhood of 108,000.

Yes, once the update happened and new buildings were added the price dropped to $108,000. This happened with City Hall, Muntz House, Retirement House when I was getting them previously. If you know an update is coming out it pays to wait a week or two and save usually around $50,000, that is what I did come the second week of October when I could get Edna but figured there would be an update and new buildings soon enough. Glad I did, was able to get a lot more land with money left over to put to the Post Office which will be done in about 30 minutes. Now just saving for Channel 6 when I finish Edna's quests.
