When Tapped Out Uses All of your Storage

Next time try using google translate so that perhaps somebody could understand your message.

When i have the problem that the game won't accept an update because device is too full, i go to settings > storage > cache > clear cache. This frees up a few gig of wasted space. Maybe you can try that if you haven't already.

I have an iPad Pro with 128gb of storage and this is exactly how much space Tapped Out takes up on my device. I don’t understand how you guys are always saying you are out of space. I have been playing since March 1, 2012. The very first day and I have never had a storage issue.

.... although you may need several GB of free space to actually run the game. Many players have stated they require 4-5GB to stop the redownloading issue.

Also, since iOS 13 launched. Apps themselves and the future update downloads take up less storage on iOS devices.

Mine is a Lot larger than that. Just to test it, just now I uninstalled TSTO from my device, and went to Play Store to get it again.

After it "installed" in the Playstore, I ignored the Play Store's "Open" option and instead checked my "apps" in my settings. Here's the screen for Tapped Out at that stage



Then I opened TSTO and it began installing, asked my age, and a few moments later I got this popup:


I clicked my okay, and TSTO installed (?) while the donut spun. And spun.
After it finally finished, I did not "tap to continue". That is, I did not enter/load my town. I closed the program and rechecked my settings and it gave me this info:



That's storage. So, I have absolutely no clue how yours can be so low. What am I doing wrong?

BTW, when I "clear data" it goes back to the low numbers and when I return to click to play the game it soon takes me back to the popupmessage about needing space and the donut spins while it loads again and when I recheck settings the app shows those same HIGH numbers. 2.15 GB total.
NOTE: Of course, after it loads and the donut stops spinning, I click "tap to continue" and it then loads my town after the donut spins for a few moments.

The highest mine has been was 1.5GB & that was years ago. Since then it has maintained itself way below 1GB. My advice to the OP is for him/her to check their device storage and see what’s eating up the space. This is what I always recommend to all users daily as I deal with this a lot at work.

My app also uses 2.16GB of storage. It's not really an issue for the (android) device I play it on, but I assumed that this was the norm.

I have TSTO on an external SD Card, which I unmount and mount every night and plug it back in every morning.

I used to have it on my phone as apart of the internal storage, but it quickly became a data hog and I had to come up with a compromised to be able to keep playing.

I think there are at least 2 versions for each OS. A hi-res graphics version for newer devices (2GB) and a low-res version for older devices (1GB). LPN would likely know more about it.
