I think there are at least 2 versions for each OS. A hi-res graphics version for newer devices (2GB) and a low-res version for older devices (1GB). LPN would likely know more about it.

    Interesting!
    I'm definitely using hi-res version.

You're using apple products. That is your issue.

Never used one of those. Always androids. Different brands, but always chose models with the very highest resolution available. Maybe that's been the problem for me?

    So how on earth does 132mb + 1755mb = 2.15gb then. :o :o :o
  • So yet again I get this :-1: :-1:
No matter how much I delete apps, photos etc I still get this message mind you at least it's not Bart Simpson telling me to try again I've played Tapped Out since it started looks like my days are finished I'll just have to play The Simpsons Hit & Run which is a better game by a mile :).

Also, since iOS 13 launched. Apps themselves and the future update downloads take up less storage on iOS devices.

I have also played since 2012 and I play five max-size towns on my iPad

My iPhone shows a similar size and plays well.

Do you have a lot of photos/videos in your Messages app taking up storage? I have 18GB in mine and need to take some time to delete a bunch :)
  • Perhaps you should look into buying an SD Card. Move the app to it, and make sure you safely unmount and mount the SD Card.

(Basically, make sure you safely eject the Card, and format your phone so that the next time you plug the SD Card in; the phone will recognize it.)
  • So far as I know Apple mobile devices (iPad/iPhone) do not have an SD card option, only Android does. TSTO should not take much storage on current iOS devices; I play 5 Springfields on mine and have done so since 2012 with no more problems than the usual known glitches and server issues on EA’s part.

What was an eye-opener for me was Messages on my phone. I send and receive photos and videos all the time and that alone is taking up 18GB of storage that I am too lazy to go through and edit :D
