Which crop do you harvest the most?

I stick to Silvertongue

I used to farm tomacco and silvertongue. Now I'm focusing my attention elsewhere and just going with a daily moonshine.

I always forget to harvest crops, which I should, because I need to rack in some profit.

It used to be Tomacco, but now it is Silvertongue.

Like most people below level 23, I harvest tomacco by day and silvertongue by night. But sometimes I try to do a long round of perfection. I kind of created a mini game for myself, I set all of the characters with a 45 second task and the perfection, so by the time I assign them all the first one I set is ready. You just have to be fast and don't forget about the perfection. I have the timing down perfect (once they're in the most bloomed stage, there's 11 seconds left).

I seriously wish there were way more increments like 30 or 40 minutes, 2 4 and 6, and a 10 hour crop that pays out cash.. I'm not that fond of the triffids.

I remember when the game was fresh new, everybody was afraid to harvest triffids in this forum.
That's a fun strategy with perfection, eliminates the boredom of watching the 45 second blue bar filling up.

Back in October when Witch Marge tasks paid out in treats, it was a money loser since in any scenario imaginable the money lost because Marge was tied up with the cauldron instead of working on one of her regular tasks was greater than the increase due to the higher rate of return for Silvertongue. Point taken. I would note that the calculations I cited above assume that one is using Witch Marge only in her 4-hour task (speeding up crops) as per the originally suggested scenario.

I also have to say that part of me resists the idea of having a Halloween character parade around in my Springfield given that that holiday is nearly a month behind us -- even if mothballing her means forgoing some virtual money. But that's just me. :wink:

Tomacco mostly, assuming Im around. If im out/alseep then silvertongue. I dont use the others at all (well, 1 in a 100 mayby). I agree we need 4 & 6 hour crops though, strange they were never added from the start.
