Why won't people graffiti?

Juliet, FYI, I just visited you and I just graffitied your last available building. The other 3 were already done.

I thought it was a glitch that visits from neighbours didn't generate FPs unless there was graffiti involved until I did a bit of trawling thru the forums. I would have thought that, by now, most higher-level players would have figured it out.

So yeh, I'll always look for graffitiable buildings in my neighbours' towns; the favour is generally repaid. Apologies if I occasionally miss one.

Hey thanks! :P yeah it's probably the time difference, i'll have been in bed so won't be clearing! It's annoying!

Hi Benny! Yep vandalising friends is the only way they'll get FP from your visit, that's why you'll get it by cleaning buildings but not clicking handshakes. If there's no clickable buildings it means the friend hasn't cleared their town yet, if it happens a few days in a row, check their last log in date, as it may mean they aren't playing anymore so you should replace them :D

Yep, not much incentive to graffiti. 1-3 FP doesn't seem like it should worth complaining about. If they were worth 10 each or they could be stacked, my argument might be different. EA hasn't ever shown that they take things away early, if anything they seem to extend events so slow playing players all have an equal chance. I'm pretty sure in a week or two this forum will be full of people complaining and asking for the next set of friend prizes.

i wasn't vandalizing because it wrecks your righteousness rating. they i tapped a couple of spray cans and didn't notice any effect so i started vandalizing in earnest when i was able to at neighbors towns. i'll look around a bit but not all day at every neighbor.

just noticed my righteousness was down to 1 star. :(

If you build a load of training walls (hide them behind buildings if you've got nowhere to put them) your righteousness shouldn't be affected anymore :D

Since they took away the ability to stack handshakes, end-level players have no incentive to log in their town more than once or twice a day. And it isn't the promise of a dozen extra FP through tagging that would change that.

Oh, poppycock. I'm level 38 and then some, and I'm trying to pop in five or six times a day to clear my handshakes and graffiti. I happen to like this new dimension to the game, and many of my top-level neighbors are also being very active. I think there's a great deal of interest in the friend leveling, generally speaking.

If I had to guess, I think some are worried about their "Righteous" rating going down...i get quite a few tags a day from my neighbors...maybe try what I did...I wrote out "Graffiti Please" in pumpkins & made an arrow telling them where to go, & put all my tag-able buildings in the same area so they don't have to search all over for them...I get about 15-20 tags a day if I clear em quick enough

I also make it a point to tag every neighbors buildings as I can...I've found that this makes your neighbor more inclined to repay the favor...just my 2cents
