I stopped upgrading my castles for this reason. However, learning that you get wall pieces when upgrading past 20 is tempting. I have no desire to pay donuts for Bart and Lisa's wall pieces.

Help me out understanding your thinking please.

The defense values just dropped. So people attacking you and you defending now gets less.

Upgrading gets you more nerds. More chances against random towns. Yes, those failed attempts also dropped in value. But a max of 30 nerds per castle collected 6 times a day is 540 nerds. That's a lot of attempts to find randoms that are at low levels and you might win against. Hmm, I'm off to so some math on this.

I get 45 nerds every 2 hours and that seems plenty to me! I often only just get rid of them in time for the next batch anyway, so doubling that would have me playing all day - and that would drive me nuts! :lol:

I'm easily going to complete the event so I don't see any point in going too crazy!

Juliet: You must know by now I am crazy. 12.5 hrs a day, every 2 hours, since this started. And I'm doing two towns to see how it plays out for my B-town at a low level (L-25) and to compare to my A-town at L-43. :) :wink:
