That's highly unlikely. We don't even know if we're gonna have a tie in with family guy crossover. Also Futurama has been off air for a while. The only show replays now since the show ended last year. That makes any slight chance of that happening disappear.

I would love this! I'd prefer characters to any of the buildings. Although the Planet Express building could look pretty good.The problem is that I don't think Fox owns Futurama anymore, so making the characters a permanent feature in a Fox property might be a contractual problem.

We won't know for sure until the episode happens but based off all the money they could get from this I would say it has about a 90% chance of happening. In fact I could even see them doing a entire futureama event but either way I think we will get something. But I don't think we will get anything for family guy since they have their own game.

I really hope this happens!! Either as a small tie in or a larger event. I would love to see Amy, Leela, Fry, Bender, Hermes, Professor Farnsworth, Doctor Zoidberg walking around my town - or even Nibbler, Zapp and Kif. Who knows! :-)

Exactly. The financial issues Involved in adding Futurama content to a Simpson's game would be ridiculously complicated. This won't happen for the same reason that we won't see real life celebrities added to the game.

Fox still owns and produces Futurama, CC just put up the money to produce and air new episodes. CC had to negotiate with Fox to get the rights to air the classic episodes, so Fox still own the show.

Richard is right. CC only owns the syndication rights. Fox owns all of the legal rights.

But their own game wont happen, them showing up here is probably the closest we'd ever get. And itd be no weirder than the mayan gods, mutant frogprinces, aliens, winged rabbits, dead presidents, dead maude flanders, zombies and funzos already running around Springfield.

And what would the game even be? There isnt really an equivalent of Springfield in Futurama, I dont know where they could base the game.

I absolutely adore Futurama. That being said, I'm not sure I have any in having Futurama characters in my Springfield. It may seem cool at the beginning but in the long run I think I'd find it silly.
