In the walk-through, it's listed as a different quest line.

1. Make Wolfcastle promote Planet Hype (16 hours) ( Wolfcastle triggers) ( Now with extra hype Pt. 1)

I know ChrisP already answered the question but just wanted to make sure others reading this saw it.

I'm assuming if you haven't built Planet Hype then he goes straight to the exercise.

He does! I haven't built Planet Hype yet as I'm waiting for more space on the boardwalk, and my first Wolfcastle task was the 4 hour exercise.

I really should have remembered because we had conversations about Dr Nick at the end of Squidport, same kind of thing.
