Would you support a monthly fee to support the app?
If so, what would be the limit you would be willing to pay and what would you expect for the money? I would support a reasonable fee, 6.99 or less for exclusive content.

I may be willing to pay $25 a YEAR but I would expect a lot more content, better user support, and much more reliable servers/better programming to fix some of the issues. $6.99 per month? No way. And I would only be willing to pay that because I have already put over five years of my time into the game. I would never begin playing a game with a monthly or yearly fee (maybe a one-time download fee, but I haven't found one yet).
