WTH?? Can't make Homer launch space shuttle

Is Lisa free? I believe she kicks off this quest.

It’s fixed itself and the 12hr timer is there.
I had Quimby on 24hr task and when it finished the “Space Trek” dialogue repeated – as I’d seen it already – but this time the rocket launch function worked and I got debris.
Must of been a unique glitch.
Now I have the proper rocket I’m not sure how often I’ll launch it as it’s obviously not there on the launching pad looking wicked for 12 hours.

The pop-up window I got suggests the possibility of getting something better (a 1 in 4 chance I believe). Maybe donuts or premium items? I'm going to send mine off again in the morning and see what happens. I'll be at work all day so having it gone won't bother me. It does look nice on the pad though. :D

The rocket doesn't always launch. Sometimes it gets a couple feet off the pad, then crashes back on the pad, and for 12 hours, unless you want to release it sooner with donuts, it burns baby, burns.

All my characters are free. Nothing is happening except that EA is adding new tasks to several characters that have nothing to do with the current event. Like making Skinner go to the Kwickie Mart.

What is going on? While Homer was doing another task, I was able to select the task, which, of course, wouldn't work because he was doing another task. But as soon as he's finished, it won't allow me to select it. What is going on? All other tasks are complete. And yes, at my level, I do know what I'm doing.

I'm having the exact same problem. I have contacted EA and exchanged a couple of emails but no solution just yet.

Still having this issue. I don't have the rocket. I didn't get it after collecting the 100 statrs. I got all the dialogue, but no prize. I've stored, logged out and back in, you name it. Still nothing. Guess I'll try contavting EA. Never had to do that before.

premium items, either kang/kodos shrubs or the miniature nuke afaik

Those are just random tasks that pop up from time to time. You can do them or ignore them if you want to.
