It may seem silly, but unless you give them the specific name (the game calls them Robot Part) then perhaps their search doesn't yield any results.

Thinking like a computer sums it up really. Not all EA employees will be familiar with the game, so they'll have to use (presumably) some sort of searching tool to find what they're looking for.
Since there are likely now hundreds of currencies that have been used in the game, they probably can't see with their own eyes what is what, and so they rely on what information they have to be accurate. I may be sensationalising the process a little, but...
