Missing login button during startup

Same. Can't login to my Springfield. When I try to add new springfields that won't work either as I started the tutorial again trying to get to a point that I could log in. When will this be fixed?

I must say, the support for this game is diabolical. Has anyone ever had a reply on this forum or for a problem they have reported to EA?

It's a pain in the * to get any help on this. When I try to get help on their other forums they send me back here and nothing happens. I agree, if I have to start over again I'm done with origin and ea.

I had same problem. I deleted game and reinstalled. Now the game won't even open...grrrr :(

This happened to me a few days ago, as well. As much as it stinks, it IS FIXABLE -

What I did was went through the "tutorial" in the new town. Homer and Lisa start cleaning up, build the Simpson house, etc. Just continue with that (It only takes a few minutes), until the icon with Bart and Milhouse becomes active. Then you should be able to log in to your original town.

I'm not sure why it all happened in the first place, but this worked for me. Hope it helps you, too.

EA customer service isn't as bad as you think it is. For one, this is the FAQ forum and not the bug and issues forum.
Secondly, I have been around since last march and while i have had the occasional problem with the system that I couldn't solve myself, I have contacted EA and had a response in less than 4 hours time.

During the holidays, they may not have the full staff on board since people do take holiday vacations this time of the year, but have patience and things will work out.
