righteousness stays 0 stars

The same thing has happened to me. I was on 4.5 stars and now down to 0. oh well i'm on level 23 and atleast it gives me something to do

I frequently use these tasks. Zero impact on righteousness.

Btw if a friend spray-paints your school building or Moe's tavern, you can increase your righteousness by cleaning it up.

Snake is the big one that you have to worry about. I was having him rob the Krusty Burger every 4 hours and mine went down to 2 stars. I sent him to serve time and popped back up to 5. Just have him go to prison every few days or so and you shouldn't have a problem with it.

I'm not sure I buy this. I use the Krusty-robbing task with Snake a *lot* because I like to use 4-hour tasks. I don't see any correlation at all between this task and drops in my righteousness rating. And I don't use the prison task with Snake, yet my rating rebounds to 5 stars. I persist in believing that people are seeing patterns in the periodic drop in righteousness where none exist.
