visiting neighbors and them visiting me - tappable buildings

Both scenarios lead to the same thing - you won't have anything to tap.

and if you want people to tap your buildings, to you have to not tap them and leave them with the icon on them, or does the visitor see an icon regardless unless it's been tapped?

1. Leave the dollar signs, cash registers, menu book floating
2. If you see a handshake, tap it. Otherwise, no one else can tap that building as long as there is a handshake
3. Clear graffit'd buildings if you see them. You get FPs from it. If you're visiting a town, and graffiti a building, both you and your friend get FPs, which is a bonus.
4. As a side note, Ch6, farms and Squidport tiles also generate FPs if you're a visitor.

    I second Chud3 - thank you for clearing this up. I've been playing at least six months and always thought you had to tap buildings in your SF so they'd be available for neighbours to tap. What a crap neighbour I've been :oops:

    Anyway, at least now I know ... thanks again! :D
  • Don't forget KrustyLand .. you get Krusty Bucks but can also get FP's as well.

    I have found with some friends, that is the only place I can tap away.

    Sorry guys but I'm confused. Are you sating if you want neighbours to be able to tap your buildings when they come to your town you have to leave the dollar/cash register/menu icons in YOUR town untapped?

    Yep.. you resist tapping in your town, so your neighbors can come on over and tap 3 times.
  • This is why I put a block of quickly regenerating houses (Brown Houses, 5 minutes) next to my start point. I've also found that somehow when I tap a dollar sign, NOT a handshake, sometimes I see a name float up, so I try to clear one each row at least once a day, usually 3-4 times.

    This has probably been posted elsewhere, but I worked it out myself, just for fun. You can get a maximum of 810 friend points from other Springfields in this manner:

    10FPx30 = 300
    5FPx30 = 150
    4FPx30 = 120
    2FPx30 = 60
    1FPx180 = 180

    I rushed through one day to see how quickly I could get through all 96 other Springfields I have, and if I don't search for buildings to graffiti (which I usually do if I'm not rushing) I can get through them all in 20 minutes.
