AI fighter adjustments
Would be cool, if they added the AI adjustments to each fighter individually, for that chosen match. A slugger in real life, you can adjust them in-game to seek more overhands and hunt for the knockout, maybe against someone who's a counter puncher, adjust defense, ect. I tried to adjust it for tournaments but when you adjust it, it's for all fighters. Would be cool to adjust their tendencies for each. Also, maybe AI figures out gameplans throughout the fight, adjusting their strategies, figuring out your patterns, making you adjust, ect. Maybe too many shots on the feet, they decide to wrestle because they know they can't hang with it. Would make things very interesting. We have the tech for it today.
It would definitely add a significant layer of strategic depth and realism.
* Authentic Fighter Representation:
* real-life fighters have distinct styles and tendencies. Allowing players to replicate these in-game would make matches feel much more authentic. Imagine tailoring Conor McGregor's AI to prioritize powerful strikes and taunts, or Khabib Nurmagomedov's to focus on relentless grappling and ground control.
* Enhanced Strategic Variety:
* Being able to adjust individual fighter tendencies would open up a wealth of strategic possibilities. You could create custom matchups that accurately reflect real-life rivalries, or experiment with hypothetical scenarios by tweaking fighter behavior.
* Increased Replayability:
* The ability to fine-tune AI opponents would significantly increase the game's replay value. Players could constantly challenge themselves with different AI configurations, creating unique and unpredictable fights.
* Tournament and Career Mode Improvements:
* this feature would be especially beneficial in tournament and career modes. It would add a layer of depth to the experience, making each opponent feel distinct and requiring tailored strategies.
* More realistic feeling fights:
* This would lead to fights that feel more realistic, and less like you are just fighting the game, and more like you are fighting the actual fighter.
It's understandable that currently, the settings apply globally. Implementing individual fighter adjustments would likely require a significant overhaul of the AI system. However, it's a fantastic idea that would undoubtedly elevate the gameplay experience.
