Necessary gameplay changes

1)Counter-attacks in clinch entries lack significant damage, which allows for attempting clinch entries without fear of making mistakes.
2)Transitions on the ground are very slow, as I have mentioned in previous posts and as top players discuss on their streams.
3)Counter-attacks on downward and backward dodges lack sufficient damage. At ratings of 1700+, almost everyone spams dive downs and backward dodges without fear of counter-attacks.
4)Stamina seems to be better than before. However, there still isn't sufficient punishment for multi-hit combinations. Fighters throw 7-8 strikes in a series, and when countered, the damage is the same as if countering a single strike. Combinations of 7-8 strikes do not overly deplete stamina, especially in the women's and flyweight divisions.
There is also no sufficient punishment for the damage received and dealt to players with low constant endurance
5)There is zero chance of defending against submission if all your stamina has been depleted, you have been subjected to submission and are making a 2nd attempt.

  • @MaDCaT22813not trying to start beef, but on 5 do you think you should be able to defend when you're tired? Most sub animations have one direction that will let you escape with proper timing when they go for the sub. I.E. the full guard escape from guillotine, the foot escape from RNC if timed properly, the back side escape from kimura and the get up from heel hook. If anything blowing your stamina should punish you significantly on the ground and feet. Nothing worse than being exhausted while someone is trying to maul you.
