Sorry I might've used the wrong wording here. I meant that the AI becomes passive, meaning it doesn't do anything and stands idly by while it. This happens when the fight has went to the ground.
Also, the practice mode starts while the screen is loading, meaning you're already taken down when you gain control. The whole point is to practice takedown defense and it is almost impossible without a second person on your couch...
All this wasn't the case in EAUFC4 and given the game barely changed, I wonder what went wrong there.
I think youre confusing idly eith more intelligence. The goal of ground is to not spaz and try and make the other player move aand deny and create stamina disadvantage. Thats where alot of players struggle. They cant defend defend consistently. the sub system is like that on steriod. Stamina is everything in it. And so are denials and fakes. You have to make them move by struggling and then you have to possible anticipate a fake that hits your stamina hard if you bite on it. Its the same thing in real life. Oxygen in a chokehold is limited, so the movements you need to make need to be precise or it helps finish it that much faster. Take pantoja. He slept the guy he fought at ufc 310. Dude moved to much and not intelligent enough and went to sleep
