The latest patch has made UFC 6 feel significantly worse to play.
Strikes feel slow, fighters respond late, and the rhythm of exchanges feels completely off. Combinations that used to flow now feel clunky. Moving strikes and feints feel less responsive, as if there’s a delay between pressing a button and getting a reaction.
Heavyweight fights are especially bad. The pace is so slow that it feels like fighting in slow motion. Heavyweights should have weight behind their movements, but this level of sluggishness makes exchanges frustrating and the division extremely difficult to enjoy.
We all wanted changes to address spam and reckless pressure, but this feels like a massive overcorrection. In trying to combat spam and adjust stamina consumption, you’ve lost the balance of the striking system. Even short, controlled combinations feel slow and restrictive.
I’ve spent lot of time practicing movement, timing, feints, and combinations. Since the patch, even in training, in prwctice mode actions that were becoming consistent suddenly feel awkward. Making everything feel less responsive hurts technical fighting too.
On top of this, South American players are still dealing with longstanding connection problems and online delay. These complaints keep coming up in our community, and the sluggish gameplay makes the experience even worse.
The team needs to revisit not only this patch but also the game’s many longstanding bugs. EA should give the community that loves this game a clear response and explain what is being done to address these issues. It has become extremely difficult to enjoy the game this way. How much of this slowdown is intentional, and how much is a technical issue? We need clear answers and changes that restore fluid, responsive gameplay while keeping stamina management meaningful.
