The 1.3 path notes look great, apart from the very vague addition of "Made a number of User Interface improvements" or "Fixed a number of issues" used throughout that don't help anyone figure out what exactly has been changed or tweaked in this area.As I've just updated the game and gone to check it out, I don't see any general improvements upon a first look. For example:-Usability improvements to the livery editor.-Fixed issue where builder car mirrors weren't paintable. What specifically? It all looks and behaves the same to me and if by "fixed" you mean completely blanked out the option to click the paint mirrors button, sure... fixed...That's naming just two I've looked at in a few minutes. These patch notes are so vague that I'm not sure anyone knows what you've tweaked or fixed outside of the notes that specifically mention what you're fixing. Can we get any clarification on these "User Interface improvements" and "number of fixes"?

@Kona_uk @No, of course I'm not happy. If I knew what I was buying I would have never bought it. But in the current (arcade) state game is, graphics for me is secondary thing. I hope many things will be improved with time

@Kona_uk It's false. The game has some issues but is still fun. Graphics aren't everything and they aren't that much worse than Dirt Rally 2.0.

@GOA__RacingSo your stating it's ok for a game in 2023 to use assets older than Dirt rally 2 from 2019. Dirt rally 2 was fun also, more fun actually than EA WRC 2023!!So you have paid for a grapically inferior game and your happy with that 4 years later?

The next wrc game will start at 480p 20fps unless you pay for for season pass which will upgrade to 720p at level 1 and 30fps and 4k at level 100 or a £50 addon fee to get ultimate pass. This is the way gaming is going.

@RyanByDesignI'm not entirely sure but I think car behaviour got better after 1.3 update. Especially FWD.
Cars got less jumpy, with more pridectable sliding, handbrake and ABS started working. Grip levels feels more. Or is it my imagination..? 🤔
Also better situation with frame rates (series X), but still not perfect.
Graphics might be the same, but I don't care much about it, coz I don't see details when flying on the stage anyway.

@RolkaWRC So you got a 4k console and your happy about 2015 graphics assets? Try crashing the car it takes at least 50 head on crashes before the temperture light comes on?

EA released the game early was going to be delayed hence the price.
EA have factored in cost's released it to make money on inital sales.
The game is nothing compared to Dirt 2 and run side by side Dirt 2 looks like the latest entry.
Also a season pass for a rally game i paid £32 for this game thinking dirt 2 but better!! Dirt 2 makes this game look something from ps1 era.

Regarding car behaviour, I didn't really have any issues pre-1.3 patch, my question has more to do with the very vague "improvements" and "fixes" that have been supposedly made to the UI, livery editor, etc.
I don't see anything different in how the UI behaves from before, so what improvements they mean I don't see, and despite claiming they fixed an issue with the build car mirrors being paintable, the option is now blanked out entirely and can't be clicked. I wouldn't call removing the ability to click a button the same as fixing them not being painted...

@xX_PlagueDog_XxLighting is not better than D2. Dirt 2 is a lot better maybe your on a cheap lcd tv. It is blurry my tv is 4k oled hdmi 2.1 and 120fps and it's blurry and excepted by EA and many reviews. Gameplay is fine but it was fine in 2019 so no change just a downgrade in graphics. So what's the point of this game? Re-downloaded Dirt 2 btw and yes EA WRC is a cheap knockoff of Dirt 2 with a few longer stages that are pointless and boring.
