As the entire gaming industry immoral business practices are only surpassed by Big Pharma these days. With governments seemingly only concerned with in game Micro transactions and such and no sign anything will be done to force the industry to stop selling broken products…. Developers will continue releasing unfinished bug infested games. Only way to stop them is if people stop pre-ordering and stop buying games when released or shortly after. I don’t understand why we do. I do get excitement and FOMO gets the better off most of us. But most games just a few months after release are normally heavily discounted and had a few patches that for most part fix all the major issues. For us it’s a win win. Boardrooms who only care about maximising profits for shareholders. Once they start falling short for their margins they Will have no option but start allocating more time and resources to the game development teams so they can finish and polish games for launch.
I as a rule don’t buy any game until it’s 3 months old. Normally for half price and working well: There was a exception. Which I’m regretting as COH3 console update is still months away. Yes I have this game. But as I mainly post on the F1 boards as WRC is genre and developer related. EA gifted me a copy.
