Just downloaded to ps5. Moment of truth. I do get anxious when codies drop an update.
H2 FWD FWD Extreme… Benefactors Major Target in JWRC doesn’t seem to have been addressed.
Deleted my previous save game file. And started game clean. So not due to an existing career.
Screen tear is better on PS5. I may be wrong but the "fix" seems to have been to drop the draw distance and reduce the resolution. Pop in is pretty rough now.
I’m not seeing any tearing in Sweden where I found it severe before on PS5. Also just feels and looks better. So much easier to be precise when Scandi flicking. Reply’s are much better.
There is a very occasional glitch where it’s wanting to have a tear, but doesn’t
Actually pop in might actually just be the same. Had just ran Croatia which has always looked rough in general. Other locations seem ok.
After this patch 1.4.1 on XSX it's worse than before the update, there were drops in fluidity and screen jams on many routes, it's pathetic that after the update the game runs worse, you could have done nothing on XSX, you are masters of screwing up the code and such a cool game, which I had to uninstall because of you. EA never again...
still crash for me in career mode 😢
What happened?
The fact that WRC Update does not appear as a suggestion in GForce Expirience or Fanalab - no problem.
The fact that the update was only accessible after a disco and could no longer be prevented - also a given.
But a hotfix to minimize crashes after a full 5 weeks. Putting off a proper update until the end of the current season, whenever that may be.
EA, I thought you had tidied up the management. But that doesn't seem to be the case. F1 23 is still a disaster, it will be the same with WRC.
Your EA app is a disaster, as is your support.
I'd rather switch back to Dirt Rally when it was still intended as a SIM for PC, I'll stick with F1 and make room for better games.
it would be nice to try it but currently iv had to uninstall an 85gb game and move another 30gb to another drive just to install the update....... this cant be right??

My screen tearing issues on the PS5 were solved. I tested several stages in Finland, Greece and Italy.
I also didn't experience a drop in AI pace after closing the game and continuing a championship event, but I tested this only ones.
