Just downloaded to ps5. Moment of truth. I do get anxious when codies drop an update.

My screen tearing issues on the PS5 were solved. I tested several stages in Finland, Greece and Italy. I also didn't experience a drop in AI pace after closing the game and continuing a championship event, but I tested this only ones.Many thanks for the patch. Can't wait till the weekend starts!

H2 FWD FWD Extreme… Benefactors Major Target in JWRC doesn’t seem to have been addressed.Deleted my previous save game file. And started game clean. So not due to an existing career. @EA_Groguet

Roll back this update on XSX to 1.4.0 because everything was fine with fluidity and graphics, now after 1.4.1 everything is broken, the graphics look like at the game's premiere, there were many stutters in the game, broken smoothness from inside the cockpit, total frame drop, in 1.4.0 this wasn't there. I am asking you to return to 1.4.0

@R5GGJ It’s not unplayable. You have a few things you can do. If you’re in a hurry to get a WRC2 contract for next season. Just change benefactor to generous. Make sure you keep under budget each week. You can do this by simply just entering only those events you feel you need to and are good at to avoid high repair bills. I tend to only concentrate on my primary goal as I like entering other events such as the builder events that unlock tier 1 builder parts. Or larger engineer budgets. Even when I do that I still get choice of WRC2 contract at the end of the year. I’ve been through first season off the junior career many times as I like to play the game every which way

I have the same issue, it looked great before this patch update. Now the graphics are totally washed out and way too bright.

So disappointed, everything has been working perfect for me pre- 1.4.1 patch!

@Klon2024 This is what I felt, not sure what they done but it feels like they only tell us 50% of what they really do in the patch notes. Graphics for me definitely have had a downgrade, less noticeable on some stages but monaco was a real eye-sore straight away and I just played some of the stages the day before the patch and did not react on anything being bad then.

So if this is what it cost to fix some other things it's not worth it, I actually felt I enjoyed the game way less. There is only so much you can take when it comes to blurry graphics in 2024.

The game is great, they just need to not touch the graphics in the wrong direction and definitely not nerf track limits because I feel some places have really short and fast ones. And that give me WRC Generations flashback and how much I disliked that game because of it's ridiculously short track limits.

same here also. Always crash at same place in Monte Carlo. It should not be like this after 3month after launch.

@Payball77 Verify game files on steam might help sometimes. I had 1 file missing.

Same issue with the FWD H2 objective here, this is highly annoying as I was unable to earn enough benefactor satisfaction to get into WRC2 at the end of the season. Seems like none of the secondary objectives work at this stage ☹️

I would like to say that I too noticed that performance went down considerably with this update. I am getting a lot more stuttering, similar to how it was with 1.3. Also, I think the game looked a lot better 1.4 than it does now. Although I am not sure if its just because shaders aren't finished compiling by the time I view them or not. I fear this happened to make consoles run better but I don't know. I just know that 1.4 was buttery smooth and now I do get a stutter like every 1-2 mins into a stage. Not the end of the world but could definitely be better. FPS is about the same but again, visually think its slightly downgraded. Everything else is okay aside from the issues already reported (like Ground Cover at Ultra causing crashes at Monte). Thanks for all the hard work. Looking forward to the next patch and hopefully some good news on 2024 WRC season content. I NEED LATIVA!!!! LOL..

Exactly the same for me with H2 FWD benefactor problem in career mode. 3 months after buying and the career mode is still unplayable ☹️

The latest update unfortunately shows the quality of the EA & Codemasters cooperation -> at first they launch a game with way to much bugs, then they come with patches let's better say with half-baked updates only to show that the quality gets even worse.

For the record the secondary/tertiary objectives for series in subsequent seasons do work as intended. It is only the secondary series in the first season which does not work!
