Hello,
Great news for moza wheels users.
No update on Fanatec DD+ users compatibily ?
Thank you

It's a shame the Moza RS V2 steering wheel isn't part of this update and isn't supported by the game... this is a top tier steering wheel of the Moza ecosystem made specifically for rallying and I bought this steering wheel just to play this game. I really hope you will add official support for it in a future update because the telemetry isn't working. Still grateful you've added official support for multiple Moza peripherals but this one is much needed please :

- Restarting a Moment after completion still kicks you off the servers. Been an issue for a while now and still hasn't been fixed.
- Snow effects are still broken in multiple ways. After fixing the golf ball sized fireworks glow on the flakes in this patch, now the falling snow at night is black when not directly illuminated (which looks crazy from chase cams), and still most of the heavy snow vanishes from existence and turns into light flurries when moving, and more than that, the snow still has no impact on the windshield - which has been an issue since launch. A whole year with no improvement for weather conditions that can now be used in more locations thanks to the winter seasonal aspect.
Rain effects still have numerous issues as well. All the weather needs to be ripped out of the game as all it does is break immersion and detract from the experience rather than add to it. The 9 year old Dirt Rally has weather effects that look and behave far more naturally, as do any of the dozens of other racing games out there released in that time until today.
Do it right or don't do it at all. A whole year of minor tweaks and adjustments and nothing is in a good spot when it comes to active weather. Remove it and rebuild it from scratch and stick to basic wet/dry surfaces like Time Trials until it can function properly.
- Headlights at night still turn road surfaces that look like old school tv static in motion. The mip mapping on the roads still seems completely broken, and the roughness/normal/bump maps are still too strong and likely creating these insane artifacts at night. The only workaround are still to disable AF completely or drive at night with the headlights off and the brightness turned up, both horrible solutions to a problem that should not exist, and has only ever existed in EA WRC and now EA WRC 24.
- Interior Windshield Reflections are still terribly broken in all sorts of cars and lighting conditions. Either fix this for real or let us fully disable these impossible reflections already. All these immersion destroyers need to go away, and it would take far too much testing and take way too long to fix these in every single problem car in every single problem lighting condition one by one.

Is the turbo sound update working as intended? Since the update, when you release the accelerator, the turbo blow off sound seems to play about 20 times really quickly as opposed to just once. This is most noticeable on cars with chirpy blow off sounds like the 3 Subaru WRC cars and the 2 Ford Focus WRC cars
Just wish to thank the WRC devs on this latest patch. I am on Quest 3 and was a critic of the game mostly due to the vr gfx and some handling was a bit off. However since the last 2 patches and with the addition of a tweaked Engine.ini update on Reddit (those tweaks really should be incorporated into the game), I am really impressed with how well the game runs now in vr on my 4080s & 7800X3D. The gfx are now solid, detailed and clear with very minimal minor sparkle - I now run most settings on Ultra with a few turned down low with reference to the Reddit post recommendations.
Contrary to the experience others are having, I find no issues with any of the graphical details, night or day any weather, it just looks fantastic. I cannot speak for other gpu or cpu combo but on my Win10 system EA WRC has now overtaken my fave Rally game dR2.0 as it has improved so much. The physics and feel of the cars plus the FFB is now just great and although I will still take a drive in dR2.0 from time to time, I will be spending most time in dR3.0 aka EA WRC ! The new content so far is also a great addition.
Big Thanks to the dev team and really hope you can keep this going and improving as it it well worth it and hope lots of other players keep jumping in.🙂
But when is the crash on start up issue going to be fixed? it's been around since the 1.9 update.

WRC is still a lot of fun to drive and I think the tracks are beautifully realized. It's probably a matter of taste.
I can only speak from the perspective of a user of a Windows PC with Fanatec equipment.
But! Old bugs have reappeared with the new vehicles, such as constantly illuminated brake lights, at night it looks grotty again or still looks grotty, headlights shine through walls and the subject of shadows, I'm getting tired of mentioning it.
Night driving still looks lousy, both when driving and in the replay.
And collisions with barriers are more than questionable. You knock over poles, but a grid brakes like concrete. Total loss due to a tubular frame. But headlights still shine.
Unfortunately, the damage model is still the same as it was a year ago.
Apart from 2 new locations and a few new cars, the addon hasn't really done anything except reactivate a few old bugs. A really good achievement. Congratulations.Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Brake lights are still wrong (either always on or on until the first time you brake)
Night driving is still beyond realism. Please look at your own title Dirt1. By the way, headlights are also broken. It's sad that 10 year old titles offered much more simulation than current ones. I play on the PC and wish I had real sims instead of just a boring arcade.

Vegetation still goes through the hood and into the cockpit. I don't understand it. UE offers several collision models, you don't seem to use any of them.
You probably don't use any of them, the lighting, especially at night, is also completely wrong and contradicts everything that UE has actually been about since at least 4.0. The fact that a 5.4 is now running cleanly seems to have passed you by without a trace.
Man, I want a sim and not a console-compatible MarioCart. WRC and F1 are getting closer and closer, in a way that nobody can approve of.
